The biblical view of whether animal spirits go to heaven or are resurrected on earth.

Jehovah's Witnesses assert that when an animal dies, you never see it again, and that a cute pet was as beloved as family and will not be resurrected. However, I personally believe that resurrection is possible. I would like to argue from Scripture how God regards animals. In the Garden of Eden, animals were not originally mortal. Adam and Eve were not created to kill and eat animals, and the animals did not live in a society that had the same relationship to eat and be eaten as Adam and Eve.

Ecclesiastes 3 :18 I said in my heart, "Concerning the condition of the sons of men, God tests them, that they may see that they themselves are like animals." 19 For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity. 20 All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. 21 Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth?

Death spreads to animals because of Adam and Eve's sin

Genesis 1:20 Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens." 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing(Soul in original language) that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." 23 So the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind"; and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Psalms 104:30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth. 31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever; May the Lord rejoice in His works. 32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke. 33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34 May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the Lord. 35 May sinners be consumed from the earth, And the wicked be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul! Praise the Lord!

We can see that the assertion that "humans have an immortal spirit like God, but animals cannot go on forever because they do not have a spirit," as made by general church pastors, does not make sense. Animals are also created very easily by the Spirit of God, and if anything, pastors misinterpret the definition of the word "spirit" and say that animals do not have spirits. It is expressed as if both humans and animals have a spirit.

After Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thorns and thistles sprouted up, the whole land was cursed, and animals were cursed to die. Adam and Eve were responsible for being the first to rule the whole world, and they were supposed to create a cycle of happiness for the whole world. But instead of a series of happiness, they created a series of sin, misery, and death.

Genesis 3:17 Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it': "Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life. 18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field.

The Book of Jubilees 5:3 And the Lord looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt, and all flesh corrupted its order and they all did evil before his eyes, all that were on the earth.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned--

Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.

Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),

The devil deceived the first man and woman by possessing a serpent, an animal, and the whole world began to produce brutal animal and plant humans who love tyranny and reflect Satan's spirituality. The Bible speaks of flies and moths as Beelzebub (a word for the owner of a fly) and as earthly pests that devour treasures (Matthew 6:19,20), and the Old Testament law included provisions for unclean animals.

As for animal sacrifices, worthy souls were offered, while there is no mention of the souls of flies, moths, spiders, locusts, or other unpleasant creatures being offered to God as burnt sacrifices. These pests are the natural enemies of humans and herbivores, the same species of evil people in the human world who are evil in nature and threaten the welfare and safety of others. They are the same evil race and species that Satan breathes on.

In the Bible, pests devour crops and evil spirits in the form of locusts appear during the Tribulation Period. Pests are also used in the Bible as a symbol of evil, albeit figuratively. On earth, the providence of the law of the jungle pervades not only the animal and plant world but also the human world, reflecting the spirit and mentality of Satan.

Many wicked people welcome the providence of the weak and the strong themselves and live while trampling on others. Wicked people who prey on the weak will be judged by God. The Bible tells people to live clean and righteous lives, sanctified from Satan's world and from the providence of the law of dominion over the weak and the strong.

Therefore, because the world is under Satan's control, because it is a world of the weak and the strong, if we follow his rule and reign as the strong and sacrifice others, we will have no excuse on the Day of Judgment. Lions eat sheep, spiders build webs to catch their prey, and because this is the natural order of things, it is our right to live by kicking down and sacrificing the weak in the human world as well! What a defense is rejected.

Roman soldiers wove a crown of thorns and placed it on Jesus' head to taunt Him. Jesus became the curse itself, vicariously assuming the influence of sin in the whole world. (Mark 15:17; John 19:2) Christ's atonement would be applied to the whole forest, so that in time all unnecessary natural enemies and evil creatures would be removed and replaced by their original perfection.

Possibility of Resurrection of Animals

Exodus 23:4 "If you meet your enemy's ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again 5 If you see the donkey of one who hates you lying under its burden, and you would refrain from helping it, you shall surely help him with it. 12 Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female servant and the stranger may be refreshed.

Deuteronomy 22:10 "You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.

Deuteronomy 25:4 "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.

Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man regards the life of his animal, But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Isaiah 11 :6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.

The animals observe the Sabbath day to prevent them from getting tired, just as humans do, and they are not allowed to tie an ox and a donkey to a yoke to prevent them from hurting each other while working. Clearly, animals have the right to live a healthy life.

Jonah 4:11 And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left--and much livestock?"

Yahuwah spared the livestock. In the Old Testament, animal sacrifices were also offered, but all of the animals died instantly by having their carotid arteries cut. They were not tortured, slandered, stripped naked, and suffered a ruptured heart death on the cross, as Jesus did.

The Bible also symbolizes the sea as sin, and of course the beasts of the sea, leviathans, man-eating sharks, and other assorted vermin, will be destroyed as well at Christ's last days when the sea dries up.

Isaiah 27:1 In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Noah's Flood covered most of the world with water and turned Antarctica into an ice ring surrounding the Flat Earth. Although a few cute penguins survive in Antarctica, most plants and animals do not exist in Antarctica due to the extreme cold. At Christ's Last Hour, all will burn and melt away, the extreme vermin of the sea and the wicked will be judged and gone, and the Garden of Eden will be restored as Christ and His co-priests begin their millennial kingdom, and the deceased will be resurrected, including one adorable animal after another.

Revelation 21: 1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

The secular society has falsified the earth as a sphere and imposed a cosmology on people that does not exist. In addition, because of their ignorance of the world prior to Noah's flood, they are unable to envision the scale of the resurrection of life on earth. The fossils or pebbles scattered all over the world are actually calcified pieces of dead organisms from the past, and as Jesus said that even a pebble can produce Abraham's descendants, the pebbles all over the world are the calcified remains of former organic matter and dead organisms. (Matthew 3:9) The stones in the above picture are not fabricated, they are all real. They were living souls. So when the breath of God, or spirit, is brought to them, they will come back to life.

A parable about feeling animals as if they were our own children.

2 Samuel 12 :1 Then the Lord sent Nathan to David. And he came to him, and said to him: "There were two men in one city, one rich and the other poor. 2 The rich man had exceedingly many flocks and herds. 3 But the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished; and it grew up together with him and with his children. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup and lay in his bosom; and it was like a daughter to him. 4 And a traveler came to the rich man, who refused to take from his own flock and from his own herd to prepare one for the wayfaring man who had come to him; but he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him." 5 So David's anger was greatly aroused against the man, and he said to Nathan, "As the Lord lives, the man who has done this shall surely die!

In the Bible, Jesus Christ and Yahuwah, the Heavenly Father, are depicted as shepherds, and God is said to care for even a single sparrow. The Bible gives no reason to believe that all animals will die and not be resurrected in the future.

Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Matthew 18:12 What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? 13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

It is sometimes said that animals are born to be destroyed based on 2 Peter 2:12. However, that verse only cites animals that are incapable of reason in order to detail that evil people who are incapable of reason will die and perish like animals, not a judgmental verse that asserts that lovely animals will always decay and die in the Garden of Eden or in a world without sin and death.

Since it is expressed in the New Heaven and New Earth that "there is no more death, neither sorrow nor mourning," it is more natural to take it as it is, and we can assume that "death" of plants and animals does not exist either. Plants are cut off from their roots, killed, calcified, and converted into building materials for masons, and the modern society in which high-tech has been created is a byproduct of death in Satan's world. The seemingly convenient but perverted society that does not love nature is also harmful to mankind and has become an evil world that does not love God's creation. The target of destruction is the civilized society of Babylon the Great, which was formed at the expense of plants and animals, and whose sins are said to be characterized by "shameless extravagance and spiritualism (the original word for pharmacy, i.e., the abuse of plants). (Revelation 18:10) The Bible says that the civilized Babylon will be destroyed and God's unadulterated, natural creation will be restored to its original state, alive and well.

Sodom and Gomorrah are also described in the Judah scriptures as being "in punishment of eternal fire," while Ezekiel 16:53 says that "certain former inhabitants will return there and prosper." We should not take "perished" in one verse as an absolute statement, but should carefully weigh it against other passages to determine which weight to place on it. We should keep in mind that even if we perish in this present world, there is likely to be hope beyond it. As for animals, we cannot be too quick to assume that we will never see them again based on a single sentence of Scripture that says they will "perish".

Animals without reason and the original

Returning to animals, I will write about the characteristics that make me think that animals are not capable of reason.

Proverbs 30:24 There are four things which are little on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise:

2 Peter 2:12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption,

Jude 1:19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

Animals live by instinct, and even cute cats often lack rationality to the extent that they eat their own offspring when they sense danger, or forget that they have had a miscarriage even if they have had one. (My cat is a typical example of this. She had a miscarriage when she was a stray, but she is a sweet cat who does not care about it at all). We are inspired by their adorable behavior and cherish them, but we assume that they do not feel the fear and suffering that people with a certain level of intelligence basically feel.

Job 39:13 "The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, But are her wings and pinions like the kindly stork's? 14 For she leaves her eggs on the ground, And warms them in the dust; 15 She forgets that a foot may crush them, Or that a wild beast may break them. 16 She treats her young harshly, as though they were not hers; Her labor is in vain, without concern, 17 Because God deprived her of wisdom, And did not endow her with understanding.

I have a picture of myself as a small child on my profile, and although I happily knocked over a trash can and smiled when I was a baby, to be honest, I was not smiling back by identifying joy, anger, sadness, or pleasure at that time. In the same way, I believe that animals do not feel pain and suffering excessively like fully grown humans who have developed intelligence and emotions. Peter is merely stating that there are unrepentant wicked people who will perish like animals without reason, and he is not stating that these animals will perish and rot and die even in the Garden of Eden. Rather, the Bible says that the society of the weak and the strong and the dead will be destroyed and new life will return in the New Heaven and New Earth, where the world of peace that was originally intended will dwell.

In the world prophesied where wolves and sheep will sleep together, there will be none of the characteristics of today's world, a cyclical pyramid society of the weak and the strong that eats and is eaten, dies and rots, and cycles. It is Christ and His co-priests, or heavenly class Christians, who will be responsible for restoring the original Garden of Eden. They will be kings who rule the earth from heaven. God did not create the earth to be destroyed, nor did he create a world in which all souls, including animals, which possess the breath of life, or spirit, would "die". The Garden of Eden, where there is no death, was hijacked by the devil and has become a world where there is death. The original ecosystem in the Garden of Eden would be unimaginable to humans living in a cyclical, flesh-eating society where life is dying.

We cannot say for sure whether all the animals that have died so far will be resurrected, but as it is described as a new heaven and a new earth, and as the restoration to the original Garden of Eden without the sea, the animals will be reborn in their original form, each having a perfect structure and not harming each other, and they will rest forever. They will not harm each other and will be at rest forever. Animals bred by selfish humans and cats bred only to look pretty will be reborn in their original form and will not die. Sin has been introduced into the world by man and death has spread throughout the world, but the wilderness will be re-created in the millennial reign that will immediately follow Christ's second coming. The original giant trees will be restored, their huge leaves will provide adequate shade from the scorching heat of the sun, and neither humans nor animals will suffer the aging damage of ultraviolet rays.

Revelation 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

The Millennium is a period of rehabilitation to restore the earth to its original state, to restore humanity, plants and animals to the Garden of Eden. Satan and demons who hinder the rehabilitation will be sealed in the abyss for a thousand years.

The Garden of Eden will be restored at once during the thousand years when there will be no demons and evil spirits, and the earth will be infinitely expanded and renewed, and everything will be renewed. If the infinite expanse of heaven and earth will become one, we cannot conclude that "it is inconceivable that animals and humans who have died so far will live there. Such people tend to set limits from the human perspective in the concept of resurrection.

Of course, we cannot grasp it all at this stage, but clearly in the Bible there is no disapproval of "man's adoration of animals as if they were his own children," but rather the prophet Nathan used that metaphorical expression to inspire David's heart. And the landscape of the former Garden of Eden, as expressed in the ancient concept of the World Tree, would have been a continent itself, with giant trees that grew far into the sky, all the way to the canopy above Flat Earth. If the ocean were to disappear, the area that could be inhabited by all humans and animals would expand, but if giant trees could grow to the sky, and humans and animals could live there, the area of habitat that could be inhabited by humans would include the area beyond the sky.

Eventually, when the new heaven and new earth are restored, people will enjoy the reign of Christ, and each person will be judged. During the period of judgment, all animals and plants will be remade and brought back to life, and the souls of animals in their original form will be recalled by God to the vast, sea-free Garden of Eden. It is possible that during God's Sabbath Jesus and the sons of the Kingdom will expand the area of the flat earth and the canopy.

Under Christ's rule, which will bring fair judgment, no one will suffer harm and no one will die for anyone, and that is why animals will not fall under the influence of human sin and die. For the righteous, there will be a world without death or mourning, but only sinners and wicked people will suffer death during that millennial judgment period. In the Millennial Kingdom, Satan and demons will be sealed and the world will be under the rule of Christ, who will complete the redemption, so that humans, animals, and plants will be able to live in peace and respect each other.

Hosea 2:18 In that day I will make a covenant for them With the beasts of the field, With the birds of the air, And with the creeping things of the ground. Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, To make them lie down safely.

Isaiah 65:24 "It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain," Says the Lord.

Since the Bible says that He cares about even a single sparrow, it seems that the souls of creatures that can be seen with the naked eye, from mammals to birds, will be the target of the resurrection. Insects and fish are not considered to be the object of resurrection. Insects appear in the Bible as pests that devour human crops, and it is highly likely that there will be no insects in paradise. Naturally, single-celled organisms that cannot be seen with the naked eye will not be resurrected. Animals that Adam could see and name with the naked eye and that are classified up to birds are the target of the resurrection.

This is a video of animals being miraculously healed by prayer in the name of Jesus. In other words, the animals are enjoying the redemption of Jesus, so we can assume that the death of the animals is also redeemed. Isaiah 40:5, also quoted in Luke 3:6, says, "All flesh shall look up to salvation." This "all flesh" is the original word bāśār, which includes both humans and animals.
